Hidden Landscapes is an ongoing exploratory project concerned with deconstructing and rearranging the natural form and texture of the traditional landscape to create compositions both familiar and otherworldly whilst drawing attention to lines and details that may otherwise go unnoticed.

I Made this video by filming my TV screen as it went a bit funny due to a bad digital signal.
I also mirrored it a couple of times to get the kaleidoscope effect.

Distortion is usually unwanted, and often many methods are employed to minimize it in practice. In some fields, however, distortion may be desirable; such is the case with electric guitar distortion.

THIS PROJECT IS ABOUT DISTORTING REALITY AND MAKING NEW MEMORIES FROM FOUND IMAGES AND SOUNDS. THE PROCESSES USED TO PRODUCE MY WORK ARE A NECESSARY ELEMENT IN MY RESEARCH. AS WITH MY LAST PROJECT THE FINAL OUTCOMES ARE BEING USED TO PROMOTE MUSIC THROUGH IMAGES AND VIDEO.

//TIME LAPSES
I love watching time lapsed videos of the sky's movements. I tried to make my own the other day but it didn't really work. I filmed out the window for half an hour but the clouds hardly moved at all when I sped it up. Now the sky is just grey. Rubbish.
//AGAINST THE GRAIN
As I have said before, I like the idea of using hardware incorrectly to produce weird new images and sounds. I don't like things to be done perfectly and 'correctly' like some sort of mathematic formula, that ain't art yo.
I love this album cover, for the band Everything Everything. It looks like what happens when your digital TV signal goes funny. The designer probably actually spent ages getting that effect perfect, but i'm sure the distorted TV signal idea was there somewhere.
